Nutritional and Lifestyle Guidance: Advising on diet, exercise, and other lifestyle factors to promote a healthy pregnancy.

Labor & Delivery
Labor and delivery is such an exciting time! I’ll be there to support the mom, her baby and her family in the following ways, and more!
Continuous Monitoring: Observing the progress of labor, including monitoring contractions, fetal heart rate, and the mother's vital signs to ensure both are stable.
Pain Management: Offering various comfort measures and pain relief techniques, such as breathing exercises, position changes, and water immersion, to help manage labor pain.
Emotional and Physical Support: Providing reassurance, encouragement, and hands-on support to help the mother stay focused and comfortable throughout the labor process.
Assisting with Delivery: Guiding and assisting during the actual birth, including helping with positioning, delivery of the baby, and immediate newborn care.
Emergency Care: Being prepared to handle any unexpected complications or emergencies that may arise during labor and delivery, and making decisions in the best interest of both mother and baby.
My goal is to provide a supportive and safe environment during labor and delivery, aiming for a empowering birth experience in the comfort of the home.
Postpartum Care
During the postpartum period, I will provide crucial support to help the mother and baby transition smoothly into their new routine. Their services typically include:
Postpartum Checkups: Conducting follow-up visits to monitor the mother’s recovery, including assessing uterine involution, perineal healing, and overall physical and emotional well-being.
Newborn Care: Checking the baby’s health, including weight gain, feeding patterns, and overall development, as well as offering guidance on newborn care and common concerns.
Breastfeeding Support: Assisting with breastfeeding techniques, addressing any challenges or issues, and providing education on lactation and infant feeding.
Emotional Support: Offering encouragement and support to help the mother adjust to the changes of new motherhood, addressing postpartum mood changes, and providing resources for mental health if needed.
Education and Resources: Providing information on postpartum self-care, including physical recovery, nutrition, and rest, and connecting the mother with additional resources or referrals if necessary.
